The Solar Vault Client Software is designed for the backup and restore of data from and to a computer. Users can create, schedule and run backup tasks. They can also restore data, which they backed up before. The Client Software can fully automate the backup process, eliminating any human interventions. The Client Software comprises application plug-ins that make it very easy to backup Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Web Browser Favorites and the Windows System State, on a PC-level. Moreover, on a Server-level, the Solar Vault Client Software can make 'hot backups' of MS Exchange Server, MS-SQL Server, and MySQL databases. The Solar Vault Client Software is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux-platforms.

Secure data in 3 steps

The Solar Vault Client Software allows you to make a backup of all critical data from a desktop, laptop or server in 3 simple steps.
Step 1 : Installation
You need to install the Solar Vault Client Software on a PC, laptop or server. A Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation process that is quite simple and takes less than 5 minutes.
Step 2 : Configure backup
When the Client software is executed, the Backup Wizard is activated automatically. Step-by-step, this wizard will help you create a backup task. An extended task is created and scheduled in just a couple of minutes.
Step 3 : Sit back and relax
After the task is created, it will run through its schedule. During the first backup all data is encrypted, compressed and sent to the Green AISO Backup Storage Cloud. The next backups will be sub-sequential; all data is compared with the last version stored in the cloud. Only new or modified files are sent to the backup storage cloud, making our solution quick and secure. After completion of a backup, a report is sent by e-mail so you are always up-to-date on the status of your backups.

LAN To Cloud Replication

Our LAN To Cloud Replication solution provides you a LAN speed backup solution by installing our backup server software on the local LAN of your company, and the Solar Vault Replication Module can replicate all backed up data from the backup server to the AISO Data Center. This is an ideal solution for customers who need the speed of LAN based backups and restores and also require the failover protection of keeping data in a secure, offsite location.

	Client software encrypts all data with a private key using AES 128/256 bit technology before it uploads data using a certified SSL connection. The encryption key is only known by the end-user, so nobody but the end-user can open the backup data on the cloud servers
	Solar Vault WebAccess is a portal that provides access to your backup data. Once backed up, a file can be approached from anywhere in the world - on every computer with an internet connection - via a web browser. This enables you to work with your data at multiple locations without the need to install the Client software
	Integrate online backup actions within any existing batch scripts to perform backup/restore or maintenance tasks. By using the Command-line interface (CLI) in the Client Software you can automate backup and restore tasks to the fullest! Combine with any third party software to integrate the online backup process within an application or maintenance process
	Solar Vault supports an easy 'seed-to-cloud' technology, which allows the initial backup of a large volume of data to a local hard drive, which can be shipped to AISO. This eliminates the first backup over the internet of hours/days/weeks. Of course, subsequent backups will be made incrementally over the internet. This method saves time and bandwidth. Additionally, in case of a disaster, the backup data can also be restored using a local hard drive. This allows you to be back-in-business ultra-fast. Of course, all backup data on a local hard drive is fully secured and encrypted
	Multiple versions of the backup data can be sent to the Backup Cloud allowing you to archive your work. The versioning can go back days or even weeks in time. The amount of versions can be determined by the user within the client software
	Software updates plus support via e-mail, live chat and phone is included
